Technologies

Leverage our expertise in a wide variety of technologies and techniques in the JavaScript ecosystem by working with our industry leading team of architects and software engineers.

Let's Talk

What technologies do you recommend?

A look at our philosophy on choosing a framework or library.

The frameworks and technologies we recommend depend on the specifications of the project.

There are several factors, such as:

1
What type of application are we building?
2
How rigid do we want the system to be for incoming engineers?

Example: Depending on the rigidity for onboarding new developers, we might recommend Angular or Vue over React.

  • While you can set up React to have appropriate guardrails, Angular and Vue come with these configurations out of the box.
3
What type of engineers will it be easiest for our client to hire if they’re looking to build a team?
  • Depending on your region, we may make recommendations based on current market conditions if hiring an in-house team is a priority.
  • If you’re looking to hire a US-based team, we’re finding that React prevails as an exceptionally popular technology among developers.
  • If you are open to an international team, Angular developers are very common.
4
General high level considerations
  • Enterprise applications:
    • Because Angular is owned by Google and React is owned by Meta, we typically recommend these technologies for enterprise applications due to the long term growth and support.
  • Native mobile needs:
    • If the application has a need to leverage native mobile features, we would strongly recommend React since the React Native ecosystem allows you to leverage your main application’s components to build a top-class mobile experience for your users.
